Job description

PT / Rehabilitation Therapist

Imagine working as a PT / Rehabilitation Therapist, where each day presents the chance to be a beacon of hope for those recovering from injury or surgery. Here in the vibrant Santa Clarita, California, your skills won't just heal bodies; they'll inspire souls in moments when they need it most. This is a place where therapeutic excellence meets a lifestyle that's all about connection. We are searching for a dedicated and empathetic PT / Rehabilitation Therapist to become part of our nurturing team in this sun-soaked Californian paradise. In Santa Clarita, professional growth seamlessly intertwines with a lifestyle that is both exciting and fulfilling. If you're ready to make a genuine difference in people's lives while enjoying an invigorating lifestyle, your journey starts here.

In your role, you'll evaluate patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating tailored treatment plans that cater to individual needs. You will implement targeted physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional abilities. By collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals, you'll work to optimize patient outcomes. Educating patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercises will be an essential part of your role, ensuring they continue their journey to recovery outside of the facility. The job also believes in meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, kept in line with facility guidelines and regulatory standards. Participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards the best possible outcomes for our patients.

To qualify, you will need a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program, alongside state licensure as a Physical Therapist. A CPR certification is preferred, and while specialized certifications can enhance your profile, they are not a strict requirement. Previous experience is strongly preferred, as well as an ability to treat patients facing complex medical and mobility challenges. Communication and teamwork skills are essential to thrive in this dynamic environment, along with comfort in navigating digital charting and clinical documentation systems.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance, along with opportunities for continuing education and licensure reimbursement. You'll also enjoy paid time off and adaptable scheduling, all within a supportive team culture that encourages professional development. Every day brings fresh encounters, and every patient story is unique. You will serve as a valuable support in their initial recovery stages, whether it's helping someone regain their balance following surgery or encouraging a complex journey of rehabilitation post-stroke. This is hands-on, heart-driven healthcare, where your clinical expertise is enhanced with compassion, and every small victory counts. As part of a collaborative care team, you not only provide direct patient care but also play a critical role in discharge planning and ensuring safe transitions back home. With each success story, you'll witness firsthand how your care transforms lives.
