Job description
Security Patrol OfficerUnder general supervision, patrols assigned territory to protect patrons and property.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a professional appearance and conductProvide customer service to guests, vendors, participants, and colleaguesRaise/ Lower U.S. flags and fold according to proceduresManning the Operations Center to include but is not limited to: providing information, signing in visitors, Issuing equipment (keys, radios, fleet vehicles, chairs, tables, etc.)Monitor, dispatch/ respond to fire alarms and other emergencies while communicating effectivelyConduct patrols to ensure the safety of guests, vendors, participants, staff, and propertyVerify emergency exit clearance to exit doors and fire escape laddersProvide access control and monitor CCTVPerform loss prevention and loss control dutiesPerform preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on company equipment/ propertyConduct screenings to prevent entry of prohibited and dangerous itemsRespond to disturbances or problems that arise. If necessary, escort disruptive individuals off premises.Generate and complete incident reportsHave basic computer knowledgeOrganize and file all documentation electronicallyPerform late parking and car storage reportsBoot parking violation vehicles/ retrieve payment as neededAssist in crowd managementConduct escorts when handling large sums of moneyEnforce company policy & procedures. Report non-complianceAssist other departments in need to accomplish event expectations or company's objectivesProvide shift/ event reportsOther duties as assignedWorking ConditionsRequires physical ability to move around facility, grounds, and buildings.Requires operation of motor vehiclesMay be exposed to physical confrontations.Indoors and outdoors working conditions.Standing for long periods of timeKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent 1 year experienceSolid Communication and interpersonal skillsCriminal Justice Education Preferred but not requiredKnowledge and training in First Aid/ CPR preferred but not requiredTraining ProvidedThis position offers a competitive salary.
