As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities will include:
Utilizing evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
Administering various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
Assessing patient progress and communicating with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments as needed.
Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
Effectively communicating with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
Documenting all required information in the electronic documentation system.
Participating in required meetings and trainings.
Supervising and supporting students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
Adhering to APTA and State Required practice acts and ethics.
Requirements for this role include: Need 1 year experience in setting
Active PTA license
Experience in LTC or Rehab settings
Ability to work collaboratively with a supervising Physical Therapist
