Travel PTA - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced PTA - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Purcell, OK.
Contract Details
M-F, 8 hr days. Times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with DOR. We do ask the therapists start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM/35 GWW

Hourly Pay: $ 23.00
Non-taxed Stipend: $ 700.00

Weekend Requirements: Rotation approx 3/Qtr

Non-Billable: 8-Hours
Key Responsibilities: Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: manual techniques; ambulation; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc. Under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
Assesses patient's progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
Reports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to supervising Physical Therapist.
Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.
Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
Participate in facility and company required trainings, in-services and conferences.
Able to work with supervising Physical Therapist to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
Able to supervise and support students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
Adherence to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Active State Licensure when applicable.
Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Must havea minimum of 1+ years of PTA experience
Must have LTC or Rehab Experience
Active PTA license; Oklahoma PTA license is required
New Grads considered as long as a Level II experience and not just a Level I observation experience
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS)certification during employment
Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required)
