PTA PositionUnit Notes: No clinical involvement. Unit: PTA. Number of patients treated per day: How many points a day/week? Do you require travelers to do "start of care", recerts, daily visits? 6.5 Day Yes - SOC, ROC, Recert, Evals, visits. General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): What certifications do you require? BLS, ACLS? BLS. Other Certs Required for all PT: Common diagnosis / Types of patients CHF, ORTHO, PNEUMONIA. Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? N/A. What areas are they required to cover? Home Health. Home Health Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Would you accept a first time traveler? Is there any specific type of experience that you are looking for in a candidate for this position? No requirement but would prefer no new grads PT Manager/Supervisor. Is there a resource available for them to reach out to while in the field? Who is it? What are their hours/availability? Yes Clinical manager or educator 24/7 for emergency or 8-5pm. What are typical shifts and hours? 5 - 8 hour days. How often is someone expected to work the weekend shift? What is the weekend shift hours? Yes 8-5 - rotating schedule. Are they asked to go into the Holiday Rotation? Yes. Scrub Color/Dress Code Scrubs (color?) and/or business casual? Either. Department specific orientation How many shifts of orientation does someone get with a preceptor? 2 weeks - few visits with a workcoach. Additional Notes Phone and tablet will be provided.
