Is that you?We have immediate openings for PRN Physical Therapist Assistants in the Dallas area.PTA Duties:Assist the Physical Therapist in the treatment process of individual patients in accordance with the care plan established.Provides physical therapy services as prescribed by a physician and directed by a licensed P.T. which can be safely provided in the home and assists the physician and P.T. in evaluating patients by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, joint and functional abilities tests.Participates in face-to-face patient care conference with P.T. to review progress and modification of treatment for each patient, weekly.Contacts the P.T. directly for patient reports and care as needed.Submits appropriate written reports of the patient's progress, status, treatment, etc. at the designated intervals to the P.T. and the Agency.Instructs patients and their families regarding physical therapy procedures designated by the supervising physical therapist.Participates in staff development, performance improvement, and in-service education activities with the Agency.Adheres to all rules, regulations, and codes in federal, state, and local laws which are concerned with the practice of Physical Therapy Assistants and adheres to the policies established by the Agency.Communicate and coordinate activity/progress with other members of the team.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
