Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN
Medford Multicare | Medford, NY
$35-$38/hour | PRN
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity at Medford Multicare. This role is ideal for a PTA looking for scheduling flexibility while providing hands-on rehabilitation services that help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
What You'll Do
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility exercises
Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT
Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the therapy team
Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic exercises
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications
Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license required
