2026 has been our best year on record. We're expanding again and looking for an experienced PR Account Manager that knows how to help companies grow through PR.
This is a remote PR agency job. We operate virtually, with optional in-person collaboration opportunities in Boston, New York City, Chicago and Atlanta. While employees can work 100% remotely, they must be located in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Georgia or Illinois.
The Account Manager Role
Our Account Managers are at the center of our client programs. They turn business and communications goals into smart, focused public relations strategies, keep teams focused on high-impact work and build exceptional client and employee relationships.
We are looking for strong media and client strategists who know how to uncover compelling stories, create angles that earn attention and turn complex technology into compelling narratives that resonate with journalists, buyers and AI-driven search and discovery platforms.
Our account managers manage day-to-day client programs, counsel clients, uncover opportunities, lead media relations and thought leadership initiatives, and help clients break through.
What You'll Do
Manage the day-to-day execution and success of multiple B2B technology PR accounts
Build trusted relationships with clients and provide proactive counsel on PR, media, thought leadership and GEO opportunities
Help develop and execute PR strategies tied to clients' business, marketing and growth objectives
Lead media relations efforts, from story development and pitching to relationship building and opportunity management
Anticipate client needs and bring forward proactive recommendations, new ideas and strategic opportunities before they're asked for
Identify what's working, where clients can differentiate and how PR strategy should evolve
Turn complex technologies and business issues into clear, compelling stories
Develop and edit pitches, messaging, contributed articles, executive thought leadership and other PR content
Manage and mentor junior team members, providing clear direction, feedback and opportunities to grow
Keep account teams organized, focused and accountable for priorities, deadlines and results
Collaborate with senior account leaders on strategy, client retention and program growth
Help clients strengthen their visibility across both traditional media and AI-driven discovery
What We're Looking For
5+ years of relevant PR, media and/or B2B technology experience; agency experience is required
Strong B2B technology/SaaS and enterprise tech experience
Experience managing client relationships and day-to-day PR programs
Direct or related PR experience in at least one of the following markets is preferred: AI, supply chain, manufacturing, fintech, cybersecurity, enterprise risk, IT management, industrial automation, procurement and analytics.
A strong track record of securing meaningful earned media coverage
The ability to translate complex concepts into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives
Strong writing and editing skills
Experience managing, mentoring and developing junior team members
Strategic thinkers who can look beyond the task at hand and recommend what should happen next
Curiosity about GEO and how PR, earned media and digital authority influence visibility across LLMs
People who take ownership, communicate well and thrive in a collaborative environment
