Whether you're looking to create a great guest experience at a concert, support business growth and development, work behind-the-scenes during an Anaheim Ducks game, or anything in-between, this is your opportunity to start the next chapter of your career story and help create a one-of-a-kind fan experience at Honda Center.Once you've had a chance to explore our current open positions, apply to the ones you feel best suit you, as an applicant, you can always see your application status in your profile.ResponsibilitiesConduct physical screening of guests before allowing entry to the venueConduct screening of bags and belongings in possession of guests before allowing entryIdentify prohibited items and ensure the items are not brought into the venueCommunicate with co-workers and/or police personnel in the event a dangerous item is locatedPrevent ingress or egress to or from an assigned door/entrance/exitProvide general information to guestsInstruct guests/visitors regarding rules of conduct and prohibited itemsRespond to incidents in or around the venue as directed, including disruptive behavior, disputes, intoxicated guests, seating conflicts, etc.Monitor a position/location as directed to prevent disruptive and/or unlawful conductConduct high-visibility foot patrols of assigned venue/facilityIdentify unsafe conditions and/or instances that could constitute a security threat to a guest, visitor, employee, traveler, or to the facility itself and take appropriate actionsCommunicate to Control and/or coworkers or supervisors upon any observed misconduct or criminal behaviorSkillsMinimum 18 years of ageSecurity experience is preferred but not requiredAble to communicate clearly both verbally and in writingAble to perform required physical tasks and assignments, such as standing for extended periods and consistently walking patrolsAble to verbally communicate effectivelyAble to complete a written narrative reportAble to engage and interact with guests in a positive mannerAble to collaborate with co-workers across multiple departments as well as law enforcement and emergency servicesKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceEducation - High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience Required - 0-1 YearCompany: Anaheim Arena Management, LLCOur Commitment:We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and team members without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, parental status, military service, medical condition or any protected category prohibited by local, state or federal laws.
