Pugmill Machine OperatorRed River Brick, a leading brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Pugmill Machine Operator to support our Mineral Wells, TX, location. This role is ideal for a reliable, safety-focused individual who can ensure the efficient operation of the Mill Room's pugmill and brick machine while maintaining product quality and meeting production targets.The Pugmill Machine Operator is responsible for the operational effectiveness of the Mill Room equipment, including the pugmill and brick machine. This role involves configuring tooling, monitoring production, performing quality checks, and collaborating with maintenance and production personnel to ensure efficient plant operations.Key responsibilities include:Operate and maintain the Mill Room's pugmill and brick machine.Configure product tooling and oversee pugmill changeovers.Perform routine product quality checks throughout the shift.Collaborate with coworkers and maintenance personnel during downtime or troubleshooting events.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.Follow all safety policies and procedures.Qualifications include:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.Strong attention to detail for visual inspections.Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions and safety guidelines.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.Manufacturing or industrial equipment experience preferred.What we offer:Competitive pay.Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, and Paid Vacation.Opportunities for career growth within a leading manufacturer in the masonry industry.Safety-focused, professional, and collaborative work environment.Learn more about General Shale and its portfolio of innovative brick and masonry solutions at generalshale.com.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
