Pulmonary Inpatient Medical - WEO- Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta Hospital
Overview:
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at our inpatient location at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a full time 40 hour per week position including working weekend shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nation's leading pulmonary programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians and APPs.
Responsibilities:
In this position you will:
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Pulmonary patients in an inpatient setting
Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient's medical record
Write orders, progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
Interpret lab studies and radiographic testing
In collaboration with physicians, develop appropriate treatment plans
Work alongside Physicians and other Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification --or-- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
