Pulmonologist Gaithersburg, MD
No ICU Coverage Flexible Schedule Partnership Opportunity
Pulmonologists, P.C. is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist to join our established, physician-owned pulmonary and sleep medicine practice in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
As one of the largest pulmonary practices in Montgomery County, our group offers strong existing patient demand, a highly flexible schedule, and an excellent quality of life. The incoming physician will join an experienced team of pulmonologists and APPs providing comprehensive pulmonary care.
Position Highlights
Approximately 80% outpatient pulmonary medicine / 20% inpatient consults
Flexible full-time or part-time schedule; 3-, 4-, or 5-day workweek options available
Inpatient consults can be structured flexibly around the physicians clinic scheduletypically in half-day blocks, 12 times per week, depending on physician preference
Broad pulmonary scope including asthma, COPD, chronic cough, ILD, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, sarcoidosis, and other complex pulmonary conditions
No ICU coverage, with flexibility to pursue outside critical care moonlighting if desired
1:4 weekend call rotation with manageable inpatient census
On-site pulmonary diagnostics including chest X-ray, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas analysis, plus an established sleep center offering diagnostic and CPAP titration studies
Opportunity to incorporate Sleep Medicine and/or help develop advanced bronchoscopy services, including EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy

Qualifications
BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease
Active Maryland license and DEA (or eligibility to obtain)
Sleep Medicine training or board certification is a plus, but not required
