Pulmonary Critical Care opening in Waterloo, IA - Visa EligibleLocated in Waterloo, IA - Cedar Falls 10m; Cedar Rapids 55m; Des Moines 120mFull-time; Permanent; EmployedSeeking BC/BE in Pulmonary & Critical Care MedicineH1B Cap-Exempt Visa Assistance; J1 Waiver Sponsorship Overview: Join an established Pulmonary Critical Care team consisting of 2 physicians and 2 APPs Monday-Friday schedule with shared call coverage designed to promote work-life balance Balanced mix of outpatient pulmonary medicine, inpatient consults, and critical care responsibilities Average outpatient volume of 16-20 patients per day Average of 5 inpatient consults daily during clinic hours Typical ICU census of 3-4 patients daily Well-supported pulmonary clinic located on the hospital campus Dedicated staff and strong subspecialty support throughout the health system Twelve-bed ICU with intensivist coverage and onsite cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services Outpatient clinic features six consultation rooms and a dedicated procedure room Full spectrum of pulmonary disease management including COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, ILD, lung nodules, and lung cancer Onsite ultrasound, pulmonary function testing, respiratory therapy, and laboratory services Exposure to advanced procedures including EBUS bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, PleurX catheter placement, thoracentesis, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheters, and chest tube management Fully integrated Epic EMR across inpatient and outpatient settings Comp/Benefits: Initial two-year salary guarantee with opportunity to exceed compensation through an innovative productivity model Attractive incentive package Comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, and pet insurance coverage Generous PTO and CME allowance Malpractice insurance and retirement contributions 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance Daily Pay access and employee recognition programs Dedicated provider wellness resources supporting work-life balance Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible Strong commitment to physician engagement, diversity, and professional development Group/Facility Info: Physician-led, nonprofit healthcare organization providing comprehensive multispecialty care Practice based at a 204-bed community hospital serving a 10-county region Established hospitalist program and extensive subspecialty support Collaborative team environment with experienced clinical and administrative staff Integrated Epic EMR platform connecting clinics and hospitals Onsite cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and advanced pulmonary diagnostic capabilities About the Area:Waterloo and neighboring Cedar Falls form the Cedar Valley, home to more than 100,000 residents.
