Punch Press Machine Operator/InspectorA Grand Rapids based manufacturer of zinc that is in many household products is looking to add a Punch Press Machine Operator/Inspector to their team. This organization has a family atmosphere, strong culture, and really celebrates their employees.Punch Press Machine Operator/Inspector Responsibilities:Operating a punch pressTaking components and inserting them in the press and inspecting the partsRead job instructionsWorking with sharp parts and the ability to handle the parts with careUse gauges and sort between good and bad partsWorking with metals and sharp objectsSchedule & Pay:2nd shift 3:45pm-1:45am Monday-Thursday with overtime as required$17.00-$17.50/HR + $1.50 premiumPunch Press Machine Operator/Inspector Qualifications:2 years of experience in metal manufacturingAbility to lift up to 25 pounds throughout shiftAbility to set up the machine and prepare for each jobAbility read and job ordersHigh attention to detailDependable, excellent attendance recordLocation: Kentwood, MIPosition Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire
