Manufacturing Purchasing RoleUp to $80k for a Manufacturing Purchasing Role in Pottstown, PA! Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $75,000 - $80,000Purchase materials, supplies, and equipment required for operations.Research, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors.Obtain and compare price quotations.Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.Create and process purchase orders.Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.Coordinate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Track supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.Work closely with operations, production, warehouse, and finance departments.Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management.PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
