Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
Job Duties
Assist the purchasing team with ordering materials, supplies, and products.
Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, order status, and delivery dates.
Review inventory levels and assist with identifying replenishment needs.
Track orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
Verify pricing, quantities, and product information on purchase orders and invoices.
Enter and maintain purchasing and inventory data in company systems.
Assist with resolving discrepancies involving orders, shipments, invoices, or damaged materials.
Maintain organized vendor files and purchasing documentation.
Work closely with warehouse, sales, accounting, and management teams.
Perform general administrative duties to support the purchasing department.
Experience Requirements
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance.
Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, administrative, or office experience preferred.
Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused administrative, or professional environments is beneficial
Strong data-entry and record-keeping skills.
Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Purchasing Assistant.
