Advance your education and career with our tuition assistance programSummaryThe Purchasing Clerk is responsible for assisting the procurement department in procuring goods and services needed for company operations. This role involves preparing purchase orders, maintaining purchasing records, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to company policies and budget guidelines.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process purchase orders (POs) based on requisitions from various departmentsResearch and evaluate PO's and supplier communications to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveryMaintain accurate purchasing records, including invoices, purchase agreements, and supplier contracts.
