Purchasing SpecialistFacilities ManagementFull TimePrimary Responsibilities:Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for departmental operational needsMaintain documentation for all purchases of supplies, materials, equipment and services for the departmentProcess procurement card payments and ensure vendors are paid correctlyCommunicate with Vendors and Purchasing Department to resolve issues regarding purchase orders and/or procurement card transactionsTrack and reconcile all General Operations procurement card transactions monthlyReconcile procurement card transactions for all Stores purchasesAssist with software upgrades, testing and implementation of system featuresAssist with Fixed Asset InventoryAnswer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries as neededProvide front desk support by assisting customers with requests and questionsAssist with key room operations, including re-coring locks and maintaining key recordsAssist with departmental surplus inventory and disposalRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPossess a valid driver's licenseKnowledge of purchasing procedures, methods and terminology including, but not limited to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement card functionsExperience in reconciling account transactions or procurement cards; experience in accounting a plusProficient computer skills and experience including Microsoft Office softwareStrong math skills and ability to analyze, verify and reconcile dataDemonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptionsDemonstrated understanding of and commitment to customer serviceApplication ProcessApplication Deadline: The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
