Job description
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and automation framework development and maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.
Develop and execute automated functional, regression, and end-to-end tests.
Maintain and optimize existing Selenium-based automation frameworks.
Support migration from Selenium to Playwright where applicable.
Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation Engineering, Software Quality Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
Strong experience with Playwright for test automation.
Hands-on experience with Selenium.
Experience maintaining, enhancing, or migrating test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience migrating automation frameworks from Selenium to Playwright.
Experience with CI/CD and automated testing in development pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
