QA Batcher - 3rd ShiftLocation: East Hartford, CT, US, 06118 Compensation: $25.32 per hour (increases to $31.65 upon completion of training). OT available on an as needed basis Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10 pm - 6:30 amBasic Requirements: 1 year of experience or education in production, manufacturing, or as a lab technician. You'll build a career with the scale, stability, and opportunity of a trusted, iconic brand.Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance (QA) Syrup Batcher is primarily responsible for blending syrup but will assist with other quality control activities as needed.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Maintain a continuous batch of syrup in accordance with quality standardsAnalyze syrup, water, and / or beverage attributesPrepare and handle raw materials and finished goodsReceive, count and properly store concentrate inventory; rotate inventory as requiredSanitize syrup room equipmentMaintain orderly, safe and clean work area in compliance with company safety and sanitation requirementsJob RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in science related field preferred. 1 – 3 years of general work experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word. Must have the ability to occasionally lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach.
