Overview
QA Engineer – 3D Software (Desktop Applications) — We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Desktop team, working on cutting-edge 3D software for Windows and Mac. You will be responsible for testing and verification of desktop applications, ensuring high-quality user experiences for millions of users worldwide.
Base pay range
$50.00/hr - $64.00/hr
Job Title: QA Engineer – 3D Software (Desktop Applications)
Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of desktop applications
Review design documents to ensure testability and quality of features
Develop test plans and test cases
Test new or updated product features, track defects, and verify fixes
Reproduce customer issues from support channels and beta programs
Document tested fixes in release notes
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of software testing experience
Proficiency with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Experience testing on Windows and/or Mac platforms
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with 2D/3D modeling or visualization software
Background in Architecture or Civil Engineering
Localization testing experience
Top Skills Highlight
Test planning, test management, and ad-hoc testing
Defect tracking and issue reproduction
3D modeling knowledge (preferred, not required)
