Job description
Quality InspectorIndependently perform inspections and testing of components, subassemblies, and finished goods. Support nonconformance investigations and documentation in Epicor.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed inspections (dimensional, visual, functional) using standard and advanced measuring tools.Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine accept/reject criteria.Create, process, and maintain NCRs in Epicor.Support root cause investigations with production and engineering.Assist in maintaining calibration records and internal audits.Provide training and guidance to Quality Technician I staff.Adhere to safety policies and procedures.Use Epicor MES.Use Paycom.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.2+ years experience in inspection or quality assurance.Strong ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.Working knowledge of ERP quality modules, preferably Epicor.Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.Good communication and documentation skills.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Work in a shop environment subject to noise, moving parts, dust, fumes, and hot/cold temperatures.
