Job description
Quality Assurance Specialist I
Location: Concord, CA
Pay: $29/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist I to support laboratory quality assurance activities in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for reviewing analytical data, laboratory documentation, reports, and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) to ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related scientific field
0-2 years of laboratory, pharmaceutical, Quality Assurance, or regulated industry experience
GMP or Quality Assurance experience preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Review analytical data, reports, CoAs, and laboratory documentation for accuracy and compliance
Identify and communicate documentation discrepancies and quality concerns
Support investigations involving deviations, OOS/OOT results, and other quality events
Ensure compliance with GMP, Quality Systems, and data integrity requirements
Collaborate with laboratory personnel and QA management to support timely client deliverables
Required Skills:
Knowledge of GMP and Quality Management Systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and within a team
Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
