Job description
2nd Shift Quality Assurance SpecialistThis person's primary responsibility will be assuring that products meet internal quality standards and assist in maintaining/auditing the Quality & Environmental Standards. The ideal candidate will have:• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a plus.• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.• Good attendance.• Willingness to work overtime as needed.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.• Ability to read and interpret drawings, i.e. blueprints.• Organization and the ability to multi-task.• Ability to lift 50 pounds.• Responsibility for measuring a variety of fabricated parts with tolerances of +/- 1/8".• Need to initiate corrective actions and work closely with Production and Purchasing to resolve quality issues.
