Test Lead / QA Lead
12-18 month contract
3 days a week onsite - Charlotte NC
$60/hour W2; not available C2C or 1099

Test Lead / QA Lead
to oversee testing activities across development cycles, ensuring high-quality software delivery in a regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead testing activities across development cycles, including manual and automated testing.
Develop and execute test scripts and manage defect tracking through resolution.
Coordinate integration, UAT, and end-to-end (E2E) testing across teams and systems.
Maintain test documentation, metrics, and reporting.
Ensure testing complies with banking change-management and regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior testers and represent QA in project and leadership meetings.
Required Qualifications:
5–7 years of experience leading QA/test teams, preferably in banking or credit; Bank of America experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool: Tosca, Cucumber, or Selenium.
Experience working in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency with JIRA or HP ALM and version-control tools such as Bitbucket.
Experience with implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or migrations is preferred.
