Job description
Fabric InspectorThe fabric inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of the fabric meets Arhaus standards, before introducing it into production.• While partnering with the receiving team, the inspectors will approve or deny the fabric as it comes into the facility.• The inspectors will provide feedback to the Manufacturing Solutions Supervisor and the cutting supervisor on products received and possible delays.• The inspectors will be required to complete documentation on all products received.• All issues will be escalated to the appropriate personnel.• All other duties assigned by the supervisor.• Regular and predictable performance of job duties.Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.MinimumNone1 Year of furniture experience and at least 6 months of quality inspection.1 year of fabric inspection within furniture manufacturing.High School Diploma or EquivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and quality.Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.Must be able to lift and move materials as needed up to 60lbs.Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.Arhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind, Arhaus is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
