nThe Quality Systems Internal Auditor is a site focal for AS9100/ISO9001 compliance. While primary responsibilities focus on auditing, the individual in this role must act as a resource for the site to understand compliance with AS9100, our internal command media, quality software, and contribute to the execution of an effective Business Management System (BMS).

nEssential Functions:

nnnPerform BMS audits based on AS9100, ISO9001, customer and internal requirements. Plan, communicate, and clarify the purpose and scope of the audit to responsible department representatives. Collect and analyze evidence to determine whether processes being audited produce quality products and meet the requirements of the BMS.

nnMonitor and track corrective action plans to ensure timely and effective resolution of compliance discrepancies.

n

nnAnalyze quality performance and collaborate with the program team to develop improvement plans for the identified problem areas.

n

nnMaintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that is cooperative and supportive of customers, co-workers, and managers

n

nnPerform other duties as necessary or appropriate to the position.

n

nnAbility to obtain a US Security Clearance.

n

n nQualifications:

nnBachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

n nPreferred Additional Skills:

nnnDegree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.

n

nnASQ Lead Auditor Certification preferred.

n

nnKnowledge and understanding of quality management systems based on current AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.

n

nnUnderstanding of basic audit principles and practices, as well as basic assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting.

n

nnDemonstrated experience participating in or leading Layered Process Audits (LPAs).

n

nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing detailed reports, presenting findings, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

n

nnAnalytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and evaluate data and processes.

n

nnDesire to learn and master new material.

n

nnStrong drive and sense of ownership.

n

nn4 years' minimum experience in Internal Auditing.

n

nn4 years' minimum experience in a quality or manufacturing role leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities .
