Quality Assurance SpecialistAmentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support a government contract based in El Paso, TX. POSITION SUMMARY The QA Specialist will support the Quality Manager and Supervisors to implement and oversee quality control standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering continuous improvement. This includes inspecting and reviewing maintenance source documents, inspection records, and other related forms used in construction and renovation projects to ensure forms and records are current, and comply with established procedures, directives and contract specifications.QUALIFICATIONSMust be familiar with current global, US, Program and PWS requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to brief leadership as directed.Three (3) years' experience in a similar role, preferably at a US government or military installation highly preferredMust pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug screening, and possess a government security clearance.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret ClearanceEDUCATIONBachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent combination of experience, education and trainingWORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONSPrimarily on-site within a secure facility area.Requires walking, standing, and occasional exposure to challenging situations.Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESSafety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
