Job description
Quality Assurance TechnicianWe offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageVoluntary STD, LTD, and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Holiday payA culture of trust and growth opportunitiesResponsibilities:Test and release finished product samplesMonitor key processing Critical Control PointsPeriodically test packaging integrity, fill weights, and fill levelsInspect finished goods packagingCollect retain samplesConduct pre-operational inspections and release equipment for usePerform environmental monitoring swabs, read and record resultsInspect and document the condition of inbound and outbound trucksParticipate in regular Food Safety Team meetingsEnsure the plant is audit ready (SQF, Organic, FDA, and customer audits)Qualifications:Strong communication skillsPrevious experience in a food manufacturing facilityAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamAbility to work with multiple departments including Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse & Logistics, and Research & DevelopmentAbility to use a computer and tabletMust speak, read and write EnglishBilingual (English and Spanish) preferredPhysical requirements:Move/Lift up to 50lbsStands most of the dayWorks in Cold Room 50-75% of the timeMust wear Personal Protective EquipmentAbout Us: At the Fresh Factory, we've built a platform to accelerate the growth of emerging food and beverage brands.
