Job description
Quality Control CheckerThe Quality Control Checker is responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound freight. Responsibilities include:Ensuring that the quantity, quality, and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.Reporting shortages, damages, and mis-shipments.Checking contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.Comparing the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.Computer applications experience using MS Office.Excellent oral and written communications skills.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to work independently.High school education or equivalent.Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.Performs duties as instructed by management.Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
