Job description
Quality Control TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Technician with a strong background in manufacturing or production environments. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, ensuring quality standards are met, and identifying issues to support efficient and accurate production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are metPerform measurements using appropriate tools and equipment to verify product specificationsAccurately complete and maintain quality control documentation and reportsIdentify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations and communicate findings to production teamsAssist in troubleshooting quality issues and support corrective actionsEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaCollaborate with team members to improve product quality and efficiencyRequirementsMinimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistenciesSolid math skills and ability to perform accurate measurementsExperience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.)Ability to complete paperwork accurately and thoroughlyGood problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basisDependable, consistent, and able to follow established processesPreferred QualificationsPrevious quality control or quality assurance experienceFamiliarity with quality standards and inspection proceduresExperience reading basic blueprints or technical drawingsWork EnvironmentManufacturing/production floor environmentRequires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftMay involve exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures depending on facility
