Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift. This position is located at our Manhattan, KS facility. This site has approximately 65 employees and is a leader in commercial and military aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work.
Hours for this position are typically Monday - Friday;
8:00 a.M.
- 4:30 p.M. with occasional mandatory overtime.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.48 per hour.

What you'll do:
This role reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for performing receiving, in-process and/or final inspections of component parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.
In this function you will:
Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.
Approve in-process production by confirming specifications;
conducting visual and measurement inspections;
and communicating findings to supervisor.
Approve finished products by confirming specifications;
conducting visual and measurement tests;
returning products for re-work;
and confirming re-work.
Document inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs;
summarizing re-work andscrap;
inputting data into quality database.
Verify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread gauge, etc.
Basic computer skills
Position Criteria:
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Frequently lift or move 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move 30 lbs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to approach others in a tactful manner;
treats others with respect and consideration, accepts responsibility for own actions.

supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
