Job description
Quality Control InspectorWe're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure our wireline products meet the highest industry standards. You'll conduct critical inspections and testing of materials, components, and assemblies, playing a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in oil & gas manufacturing.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process, final product, and receiving inspections by established procedures and API standards (5CT, 7-1, and premium connections)Conduct dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing (NDT), and hardness testing on componentsVerify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and gaugesMaintain calibration database and coordinate equipment calibration schedulesReview material test certificates and technical drawings for accuracy and current revisionsDocument inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and manage NCR/CPAR processesIdentify quality issues and apply systematic problem-solving methodologiesEnsure compliance with HSE policies, quality management systems, and industry regulationsCommunicate inspection findings effectively to supervisors and stakeholdersSkills / EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Trade Certificate preferred3-5 years of experience in oil & gas product inspectionProficiency with standard measuring equipment and ability to interpret technical drawingsComputer literacy with Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and basic math skillsASNT Level 2 certification in at least 2 NDE methods (LPT & MPT)
