Job description
Quality Control Inspector IJob Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Control Inspector I to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, verifying specifications, documenting inspection results, and helping ensure products meet established quality standards.Pay/Hours: 3rd shift Monday – Friday 11pm – 7:30am $20 – 23/hour depending on shiftWhat You'll Do as a Quality Control Inspector I:Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to understand quality requirements.Inspect in-process production to verify products meet established specifications.Perform visual inspections and measurement tests using appropriate inspection tools and equipment.Communicate quality concerns and required adjustments to the appropriate production supervisor.Inspect finished products and approve or reject products based on established quality standards.Identify products requiring rework and verify that corrections have been completed properly.Approve or reject raw materials based on quality requirements and document supplier performance.Complete inspection reports, logs, and other required quality documentation accurately.Enter inspection data into quality databases and maintain accurate records.Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager.Assist with root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions related to process, product, and customer concerns.Track and summarize rework and waste as required.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Previous quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet production and quality deadlines.Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.Willingness to take on additional responsibility and demonstrate leadership when needed.
