Quality Control InspectorExceed your potential with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Control Inspector in Lake Forest, CA. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:Perform detailed inspections on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including PCBs, metal and plastic parts, and box-build enclosures.Review work orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs to verify product requirements and tolerances.Conduct first article, in process, and final inspections on printed circuit board assemblies and mechanical components.Identify defects related to soldering, assembly, fit, finish, and workmanship using visual and measurement techniques.Measure and verify critical dimensions using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and optical tools.Use magnification tools, microscopes, multimeters, and oscilloscopes for detailed inspections.Ensure compliance with IPC, JSTD, ISO 9001, and internal quality standards.Support 100% inspection activities throughout the shift in a manufacturing environment.This is a full-time, contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:3–5 years of Quality Control experience in PCB Assembly manufacturing.Experience in electronics, aerospace, or semiconductor manufacturing.Strong background using microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, and electronic test equipmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, checklists, and BOMsWorking knowledge of IPC A 610, IPC A 620, and J STD 001 standardsExperience performing First Article, in-process, and final inspectionsPreferred Skills & Qualifications:Certified J STD 001Experience in inspecting mechanical components such as metal parts, plastics, and enclosuresFamiliarity with ISO 9001 quality systemsBackground in box build or electro-mechanical assembliesSchedule: 1st Shift – 7:30 AM to 3:30 PMPay Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
