Quality Control InspectorB&T USA is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector responsible for ensuring that finished products meet company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role performs detailed inspections, identifies defects, documents findings, and collaborates with production teams to maintain product quality and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret prints including complex multi part assembliesProgram and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).Measure parts with correct tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauge, pins, gauge blocks, CMM, etc.Perform first article inspections of parts before a production run may beginPerform periodic inspections of parts, stopping production if parts are out of specCreate in-process inspection instructions for operators of machinesInstruct machine operators on proper measurement techniquesDevelop protocols to ensure accuracy of parts producedUnderstand and ensure compliance with all regulations concerning the departmentMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff by following established safety standardsEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departmentsSupport a positive and professional image through actionsEvaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtimeEssential duties as neededRequired Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED. Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus.5 years previous work experience with quality control in manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.Extensive experience metrology.Experience both operating and programming CMM (brand does not matter).Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.Knowledge of quality inspection methods and defect identification.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift and carry items up to 20 poundsRegularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; and talk or hear.Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.Job TypeFT – Hourly. Onsite, evening and weekend shifts also available.
