Quality Control Inspector IISO and ITAR Compliant Job DescriptionJob Information• Job Title: Quality Control Inspector I • Department: Quality • Reports To: Quality Supervisor • Location: Onsite • Effective/Revision Date:Role PurposeThe Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for performing routine incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards. This role supports production by identifying defects, documenting results, and communicating issues to appropriate personnel.Scope & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:• Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions• Inspect incoming materials using basic measurement tools and visual inspection methods• Conduct in-process inspections to verify product conformance and notify production of discrepancies• Perform final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards prior to shipment• Use standard measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions• Document inspection results in reports, logs, and quality systems• Ensure Traveler Work Orders and inspection documentation are completed accurately• Follow production schedules and priorities to support on-time delivery• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area• Identify and report nonconforming materials to supervisors• Support continuous improvement initiatives as directed• Report to Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager if any discrepancy arises and follow procedures according to the Quality System (ISO 90001:2015)• Perform other duties as assignedWork Experience & SkillsEducation:• High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience:• 0–2 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferredSkills / Knowledge:• Basic computer and data entry skills• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and work instructions• Familiarity with standard measurement tools• Understanding of basic quality and safety proceduresPersonal Attributes:• Detail-oriented and quality-focused• Reliable and able to follow instructions• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn• Team-oriented with good communication skillsWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements• Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing and laboratory environment• Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes• May require extended periods of standing or sitting• Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilitiesCompliance StatementsEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer: Disability/VeteranITAR RequirementsThis position may include access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls.
