Quality Control InspectorJoin a Growing Manufacturing Team!We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a leading manufacturing facility in York, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products throughout the production process, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping prevent defects before products are shipped to customers.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with quality inspection experience who enjoy problem-solving, working closely with production teams, and maintaining high-quality standards.Available ShiftsDay ShiftMonday - Thursday7:30 AM - 6:00 PMStarting pay: $22.55/hrNight ShiftSunday: 12:00 AM - 6:00 AMMonday - Thursday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AMStarting pay: $23.75/hrPotential schedule flexibility after successful training and performanceWhat You'll DoPerform quality inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing processInspect products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standardsUse calipers, tape measures, and other measuring equipment to verify product dimensionsRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsIdentify, document, and remove non-conforming productsApprove finished products before shipmentMonitor production processes to identify potential quality issuesMaintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentationParticipate in audits and quality improvement initiativesVerify measuring equipment is functioning properly and report calibration needsWork closely with production personnel to ensure quality requirements are metSupport corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality concernsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of quality control, quality assurance, or inspection experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprintsExperience using calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring toolsStrong documentation and computer skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentGood communication skills and professional attitudePreferred ExperienceManufacturing quality inspectionVisual inspectionsProduct testingQuality assurance processesDocumentation controlAudit participationProduction floor supportPhysical & Work EnvironmentManufacturing environment producing PVC products for the window industryFrequent walking throughout the production floorIndustrial setting that can be dusty and noisyFacility is not temperature controlledRequires standing for extended periods and performing detailed inspectionsPPE required, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwearHearing protection is provided and required in designated areasJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.55 - $23.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
