Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector specializing in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and Thru-Hole components. In this vital role, you will ensure that all electronic assemblies meet rigorous quality standards by performing comprehensive inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Position Pay Range
Incoming Inspector $23.00 - $28.00/hr
Final Inspector II $25.00 - $30.00/hr
Final Inspector III $27.00 - $30.00/hr
AOI Inspector $24.00 - $30.00/hr
For all inspector positions, we are particularly interested in candidates with:
Electronics manufacturing (EMS/PCBA) experience
IPC-A-610 knowledge (current or expired certification preferred)
SMT and Through-Hole inspection experience
Blueprint, drawing, and specification interpretation
Component identification and workmanship inspection skills
Experience working under a microscope
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience, where applicable
An important note: Exceptional candidates with current or expired IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification, strong SMT/THT inspection experience, proven PCBA manufacturing experience, and the ability to perform microscope inspection may be considered toward the top of the pay range.
Important: candidates without PCBA/electronics inspection experience are unlikely to be considered for the Level II and Level III inspector roles.
