Job description
Quality Control TechnicianThe Quality Control Technician monitors and evaluates the workmanship on multiple projects covering both NY and CT. They will spot check projects during installations and ensure that the crews are following the installation specification set forth by the management and perform all final quality control checks of every project once they are completed.Perform all planned and random inspections of the jobsite in productionBe responsible for documenting all onsite visitsEnforce all company and manufacturer installation specificationsMonitor and address violations of OSHA safety guidelinesAssure to the best of their ability that all materials, workmanship, and construction are in full compliance with the contract plans and building codesPick up additional needed material and deliver it to the jobsiteConduct final QC inspection within 24 hours after completion of jobReport major installation errors to the Production Manager to dispatch crews to make adjustmentsParticipate in all subcontractor and production department meetingsTake in-progress photos when needed and upload them to CRMTake after photos of all installations and repairsJob Qualifications:1-2 years of commercial roofing experience preferredConstruction safety knowledge preferredCapability to interpret blueprints is a plusAble to lift 50 lbs. & climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feetTeam player that can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, collaborative environmentValid driver license (in good standing)Premier Benefits:2 Health Insurance Plans: No Cost "Core Plan" – No Cost Medical & Dental"Buy Up Plan" – Features a lower deductible for MedicalVision PlanEmployer Paid Life & AD&D InsuranceTraditional 401K with Company MatchEmployer Provided Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Cell Phone, LaptopFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid Holidays and VacationCentiMark Corporation is the nation's largest commercial and industrial roofing contractor with over 100 offices across the US and 3,500 employees.
