We're a trusted and strategic partner to engineers, contractors, distributors, specifiers, retailers, and homeowners alike as the manufacturer of precast concrete, polymer concrete, and plastic infrastructure products.Job SummaryThe ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. This individual will be performing routine tests as required on raw materials, in process components and final product. This is a union plant.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimensPerform daily pre/post pour inspections on productsMonitor production operations as requiredReport to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concernsOversee team of 3-4 individualsResponsible for receiving and filing raw material reports for documentationContact for State DOT, ACI, NPCAEnsure plant readiness for all internal IQAP assessments and annual NPCA auditsParticipate and maintain all implementation of Krinkle apps for all assigned quality team membersMaintain and implement all Oldcastle QSM (Quality System Manual) standards to comply with company policyMeet and maintain all DOT compliance as neededJob RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have quality control experience in related industryACI / PCI Certification preferred, or required to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certificationBasic computer and tablet skillsAbility to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team membersAbility to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the daySome travel required for trainings and certifications (less than 10%)CompensationThe hourly pay rate is $39.55/hr Annuity Fund Health and Welfare Paid time off Paid holidays Annual economic wage increaseWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
