Job description
Zachary Piper is hiring for a Quality Control Manager to enforce quality control on USACE projects in Tracy, CA.
Responsibilities
Chair and document weekly QC coordination meetings with subcontractors and attend all progress meetings with the USACE Resident Engineer or administrative team
Update and maintain the RMSto log daily QC reports, track submittals, manage deficiencies, and upload test results
Implement and document the mandatory USACE Three-Phase Control process (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up phases) for every definable feature of work
Identify, document, and track construction defects using a rework log, ensuring prompt corrective action and closure
Review, approve, and track all shop drawings, material samples, and technical data sheets before they are submitted to the government or used on-site.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
7+ years of experience with quality control management on projects
Experience with USACE projects
USACE CQM or CQC-M certification
Must be able to pass a government background check
Compensation Package
Salary Range: 150k-170k
