Entry Level Quality Control/Plant OperatorHere at Central Stone Company, we have spent the last 135+ years working to be the best at what we do. Although most don't realize it, our products are used to build the homes, roads, and bridges that people throughout the Midwest use every day of their lives!Central Stone Company has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Quality Control/Plant Operator at our plant in Hannibal, MO. This is a full-time, hourly position working some Saturdays depending on the season.Quality Control/Plant Operator responsibilities include:Obtains samples and perform tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our Hannibal area operations.Prepare reports and maintain accurate records according to established proceduresAssists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precisionAssists in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment (loaders, skid steers, man-lift, etc.)Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderlyQuality Control/Plant Operator Specialist Requirements:Will be required to pass and/or maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for both MODOTStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated, ability to work independentlyMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsMust have valid Driver's LicenseAbility to lift heavy samples up to 75 poundsSafety-FocusedAt Central Stone, we offer a competitive wage and benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, paid Holidays and Vacation, 401k with Company match, and more!This is a great time to join our team.
