Job description
Zachary Piper is hiring a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to focus heavily on submittals and project closeout. This position will initially be based in Cherry Point, NC and transition towards King's Bay, GA.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the project Quality Control (QC) Plan per contract requirements.
Perform daily quality inspections and coordinate required testing.
Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation
Track and resolve deficiencies through corrective actions and follow-up inspections.
Maintain daily reports, inspection logs, and quality records.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial/federal construction experience
2 years as a QCM on USACE or NAVFAC construction projects
Ability to perform project closeout & submittals
Active USACE CQM certification
Utilize Bluebeam & USACE RMS
Must be able to pass a government background check
Compensation Package:
Salary Range: 80k-120k + Per Diem (lodging, meals, expenses)
