We are also a publicly traded company on the NYSE with the ticker symbol KNF and part of the S&P MidCap 400 index.Knife River is hiring for a Quality Control Technician based out of our Belgrade, MT office.Job Responsibilities will include:Safely perform standardized testing on aggregate, asphalt, and concrete materials in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and applicable state DOT procedures.Accurately document, log, and report all test results in a timely and organized manner.Communicate test results and quality control observations clearly to supervisors, project managers, and production Team.Maintain testing equipment and tools, including completion of calibration checks and recordkeeping.Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.Represent Knife River in a professional manner and interact courteously with team members, customers, and inspectors.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.This position requires the availability to work up to 7 days per week as well as varied and extended hours. You may be required to travel out of town for short periods of time.Women, Veterans and Minorities are encouraged to apply!Minimum Qualifications:Candidates who are not already certified will be required to successfully pass written and practical exams to obtain WAQTC Aggregate and Asphalt certifications, as well as ACI Concrete testing certification.
