Job Title : NS Precision Inc. – Quality Engineer
Location : Cornelius, NC (On-site, Full-time)
Schedule : 7am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Pay : $80,000-$100,000+ per year, based on experience. Includes benefits and bonus opportunities.

Role Description
NS Precision Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with a background in aerospace and defense industries to join our team in Cornelius, NC. In this critical role, you will ensure that CNC machined components and manufacturing processes meet rigorous quality standards and industry regulations. You will develop and carry out processes for inspections and data analysis, identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement inspection documentation processes that enforce quality standards and procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Manage supplier quality by conducting audits, reviewing supplier documentation, and partnering with suppliers to resolve quality issues
Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) packages to support on-time part delivery
Participate in early-stage project reviews, providing quality input and collaborating across disciplines to help guide downstream processes
Collect and analyze quality data and In-process inspection data to identify trends and monitor manufacturing performance
Collaborate with programmers, machinist and production managers
Embrace a culture of continual improvement
Maintain ITAR/EAR company procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Discipline and 4+ years experience in Quality engineering
Motorsports, Aerospace or Defense manufacturing related experience preferred or other precision machining industries.
Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, establish priorities, and meet required inspection goals
Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
AS9100D / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
1Factory or similar Quality/Gage management software
ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing
AS9102 First Article inspection reports
Knowledge of APQP/PPAP
CMM Programing and Operation (PCDMIS/Calypso experience a plus)
