Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
Participate in supplier evaluation and selection activities
Manage the supplier corrective action process, including containment, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
Ensure suppliers effectively utilize appropriate quality tools and methodologies
Partner with suppliers to ensure all product and quality requirements are consistently met
Oversee supplier quality activities for new product introductions and existing products to reduce supplier-related issues, improve process capabilities, and support timely project launches
Determine whether suppliers have satisfied all applicable requirements for new or changed products
Measure and monitor supplier quality performance according to established procedures and drive improvements to achieve defined targets
Facilitate continuous improvement activities focused on reducing defects and improving supplier quality performance
Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and ensure customer satisfaction through structured and measurable quality processes
Apply statistical methods and tools to support data analysis, quality improvement, and informed decision-making
Utilize systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify assignable and systemic root causes, implement data-driven solutions, and prevent recurrence
Apply dimensional metrology principles to measurement and inspection processes supporting design validation and conformity assessment
Support compliance with applicable quality management system standards, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific requirements
Lead supplier quality management activities, including supplier partnerships, performance monitoring, issue resolution, audits, and certification processes
Identify, assess, prioritize, monitor, and manage project issues and risks using established tools and processes
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve shared quality objectives
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience
Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific discipline
