Job description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Quality Engineer to ensure that manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards. This role requires at least 5 years of manufacturing experience and excellent problem-solving skills. This direct hire role is in Tinley Park, IL and the anticipated salary is between $75,000-$85,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and quality standards
Analyze statistical data and perform quality cost analysis
Manage customer complaints and act as liaison between the customer and Manufacturing/Quality teams to resolve problems
Assist with quality audits to improve production methods
Development and implement improvements to testing methods and equipment
Some travel required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Product and process failure analysis experience required
Fastener manufacturing knowledge preferred
