Job description

Quality InspectorEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Visually inspect products for defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues.Use measuring tools, including calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment, to verify product dimensions and specifications.Test product functionality according to established procedures and quality standards.Monitor ongoing production to ensure compliance with quality requirements and identify potential issues.Identify quality concerns and recommend appropriate corrective actions.Record inspection results, document defects, and maintain accurate quality records.Analyze inspection data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.Communicate quality concerns to production personnel and management.Prepare detailed reports regarding defects, non-conformance, and other quality-related concerns.Maintain a high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor defects or inconsistencies.Team members are expected to perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor or management, as demands require.Requirements:Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control methods.Understanding of measurement techniques and inspection equipment.Ability to analyze quality issues, identify potential root causes, and recommend solutions.Working knowledge of Google Workspace applications.Experience navigating and working within an ERP system.1–2 years of experience working in a manufacturing quality control environment preferred.Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus.Excellent attendance and dependability.Strong attention to detail.Commitment to workplace safety at all times.Ability to communicate quality concerns effectively with both production employees and management.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Available Shift & Starting Pay:Shift 1AMonday – Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PMThursday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PMStarting Pay: $18.00 per hourEmployee Benefits:Industrial Clinic AccessBeginning the first day of the month following hire, employees have access to our Industrial Clinic at Britt Family Medicine for both convenient care and primary care services.Benefits include:Free medical appointmentsFree in-house medicationsFree supplies for managing chronic health conditions, including diabetes and high blood pressureComprehensive BenefitsAfter 60 days of employment, employees are eligible to enroll in a variety of optional benefits, including:Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceAdditional voluntary benefit optionsPaid Time Off & Holiday PayAfter 6 months of employment, employees become eligible for:40 hours paid vacationHoliday payRetirement SavingsAfter 1 year of employment, employees are eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) retirement savings plan.Pathways to Economic Participation (PEP)After 2 years of employment and approval into the program, eligible employees may participate in the Pathways to Economic Participation (PEP) program.The PEP program is designed to help employees build strong financial management skills while working toward homeownership, vehicle ownership, and long-term financial stability.Program benefits include:Matching funds for employee savingsFinancial management education provided during the workdayNo-fee checking and savings accountsHome mortgage loan productsAuto loan purchase productsParticipants become eligible for these financial products after successfully completing the financial management education program and demonstrating effective personal financial management practices.Important NoticeTo be hired at Royer Corporation, applicants must have access to an active email account in order to complete required new-hire paperwork.Royer Corporation is committed to providing a safe, productive, and professional workplace and encourages qualified candidates to apply.
