Quality InspectorA Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team! Evaluation to hire opportunity.Work Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pmPay Rate: $18.50 per hourQualification RequirementsMUST KNOW HOW TO USE MEASURING TOOLS SUCH AS MICROMETERS, CALIPERS, AND GAUGES.Must be Bilingual in English and SpanishTwo years' experience in the quality field/ manufacturingExperience with metal fabricationAbility to effectively read and interpret engineering drawingsAccurate use of metrology instrumentsPerform tasks with limited or no supervisionMaintains accuracy and attention to detail always and completes tasks in a timely mannerKnowledge of dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspection processesBusiness Need / Purpose of Role:The target of position is the responsibility for instructing, monitoring, and maintaining the Quality Assurance procedures throughout the quality system. The quality control inspector is a member of the quality department and reports to the Quality Manager.Objectives & MeasurementKey Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:Works with instructions, blueprints, engineering drawings, BOM and other specifications.Performs first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspection and maintains all related documentation as per ISO/IATFHelps train new employees in proper assembly techniques and methods.Monitor operations to ensure that they meet quality standardsInspect, test, or measure materials or products being producedMeasure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometersOperate electronic inspection equipment and softwarePerform data entry and information retrieval using Microsoft Office and other software.Support other Quality Department functions as needed
